Sonic CD Coming to Console and Handheld

Arguably one of the best Sonic titles in the series, Sonic CD is finally making the jump to modern consoles and handhelds.

Sonic CD will be ported to both the Xbox 360 and PS3 through XBLA and PSN respectively. Along with the console releases, Sonic CD will also be released on iPhone, iPad, iPod, PC, Android and Windows Phones. Only Nintendo consoles are being left out, although if the previously released Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 1 was any indication, a late announcement would not be entirely unlikely.

For all of you attending this year’s PAX, Sonic CD is playable at Microsoft’s booth. There is currently no release date for Sonic CD.
