I just wrapped up the Gears of War 3 campaign. I tell ya what, the Gears story arc just gets better and better through the games. This game was so satisfying with how it all wrapped up. So good. Anybody else wrapped the campaign yet?

I wish I played GOW 1 now. I have no idea what happened then, and the "Prevoiusly on Gears of War" section didn't really help, it was mostly on the 2nd game.

I'd go on to Wikipedia and read up on the GoW 1 story. I recapped both 1 and 2 that way before loading up 3.

I don't know. I was kind of expecting more out of the ending. The end of the game was pretty epic though! (pun intended)

I think the way it built towards that ending was pretty good. Felt almost like a sense of panic for me at a couple spots.
