Forum: Other: OMGN-Specific: Known Issue with Android Browser
JTermyWy - Feb. 26, 2011 at 12:31:17pm
Ladies and Gentlemen,
We are currently investigating a known problem with the Android Browser that comes with the phone as standard, and the "Menu" link in the Header of the site. The Menu does not appear, and you are unable to scroll the page any more after clicking the button.
We are unable to diagnose the issue properly due to the Site Developer and President, Robert Ludwick, and his lack of an Android device, however endeavour to patch the website as soon as possible.
We are working on the problem, and would like to apologize for any inconvenience caused due to the issue.
If you experience this problem, please post below the circumstances in which the problem occurred, what Android phone you have, what Android Version it is, and what Browser you were using.
Thank you for your co-operation.
The following phones and browsers are confirmed as affected so far:
HTC Desire - Stock browser
HTC Wildfire - Stock browser
The following phones and browsers are reported as unaffected so far:
Samsung Galaxy S GT - Stock browser (assumed)

Yeah, I was getting that problem earlier. Later on it was fixed, but now it's borked again.
In the meantime, I've been using the full site version if I'm using my phone.

Not a problem on my Samsung Galaxy S GT!

Thanks for letting me know, Kai.
I am now led to believe it's an issue with the HTC Sense builds, rather than Android as a whole. Still, better to see the full picture first.
